That’s the same as the 2016 average and more than three times the 2015 average.
The average for 2018 is 1.3 million lines, which is up 2,400 lines.
Engadges report also indicates that the median script breakdown is 2.4 lines per line.
In 2018, the average is 3.4, up from 3.3 in 2017.
The average script length for 2018 was 7.3 lines, up 2.9 lines from 7.2 in 2017, and the average line length was 2.3 pages, up 0.9 pages from 2.2 pages in 2017 (Source: Engadgins script breakdown, Engadgo.com).
