The Simpsons has announced that the iconic character Panda Bear will be appearing in a new episode.
The show has previously announced that a new Pika-themed episode will air in 2017.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, co-creator Matt Groening said he was very excited to announce the character, as it “was a fun project to work on.”
He said the episode will be called “The Pika Chronicles.”
He also said that he wanted the episode to be a bit of a milestone.
“We’re really proud of what we’ve done with Pika,” Groening added.
“He’s a very big character, and it was fun to work with Matt Groen.
Groening also teased that the episode’s release date will be “in January.” “
It’s a really fun project and I hope we get to do it for a long time.”
Groening also teased that the episode’s release date will be “in January.”
“It will be in January, January 2035,” he added.
Pika was created by cartoonist George Lucas and first appeared in the 1967 film of the same name.
He has been the main antagonist of The Simpsons since the series’ debut in 1994.
Groening revealed that the show would have Pika be the subject of a new documentary about the character.
He said that the idea for the documentary came from a conversation he had with Lucas.
“George said, ‘I don’t know if I could make it any more interesting, so I’m going to give this to somebody else,'” Groening explained.
“So he gave it to [director] David Zellner, and he gave me a great script.
It’s about Pika and the history of this story.”
The Simpsons also revealed that it is working on a new movie that will follow the adventures of Pika, who will be the main character in the upcoming movie The Simpsons: The Movie.
